Corporate Overview
AXSEM is a fabless semiconductor company
specialized in developing and marketing cost efficient, high quality
analog and mixed signal products mainly for the wireless communication
market-place. AXSEM has it's headquarters in Dübendorf, Switzerland,
conveniently located near the center of Zurich and about 10 min from
Zurich Airport.
History
AXSEM has its roots in e-vision, inc. which was founded in 2000 as an
ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuits) design center. The
company was founded by four senior managers and developers of the
silicon industry. The aim was to supply ASICs and IP.
With the growth of the ASIC business in 2003 a strategic move towards ASSPs (Application Specific
Standard Products) for short-range wireless communication IC was made. Since its founding in 2000, e-vision has had a
steady growth in revenue, manpower and international recognition. In 2006 a decision was made to focus on standard products as fabless semiconductor company. As a result AXSEM was founded by Monika Brogle, Thomas Sailer and Thom Wolff in the beginning oof 2007. AXSEM is fully privately held.
AXSEM is now one of the market leaders for RF short range devices. The company is qualified according to the ISO 9001: 2000 standard and all
products meet the highest quality standards in order to ensure
reliable, high-volume manufacturing.
